Cal State-San Bernardino-Sunflowers and Tacos!

Distance: 2.02 Miles
Time: 51 minutes
Seasons: Winter, Fall, Spring, Summer (morning/evening)
Parking: Residential–you need to park in the neighborhood nearby where you do not see “No Parking” signs. I usually park north of Northpark Blvd and then turn right (north) on Campus Cir and the trail will be on the right hand side.
What to Bring: Sunscreen, lots of water, and comfy shoes (hiking shoes are optional).

I really enjoyed this hike. I went around 6:15pm and I only saw one group of people in the distance. The route has a nice contract of residential on one side and sunflowers and the hills on the other side. I could have extended the route, but I was eager to eat my tacos!

Where to Eat:  Tacos Unidos, San Bernardino

I found this place on Instagram and they do pop-up tacos on Friday nights. I got chicken tacos and one chicken mulita. It was delicious! Next time I go back I want to order extra mulitas to eat over the weekend!

Where to Start the Hike:
Here is the location of where the trail starts, but you need to park a few blocks away and walk to this.

My Route: I use the Woof Trax app to track my routes and distance and each walk benefits the animal non-profit of your choice!
